Today my mom gave me a bit of advice over the phone here's how it went:
Mom: I went to the Nascar race today with dad. I got to ride in a car and drift around a corner! oh and and I got a tattoo!!! Yay!
Me: Wow mom you're really living on the edge better be careful out there with all those rednecks.
Mom: Oh don't worry the tattoo washes off. How are you and Lori doing today and how is Logan?
Me: Just grand thanks mom very cold though but big surprise there though and we are doing homework all day.
Mom: Oh, good just remember find a guy who treats you like a queen so when you get married he will treat you like a princess. Don't find a guy who treats you like a princess cause when you get married he will treat you like a maid.
.....random, I know, but so so deep. Such a smart lady I just love her.

Make my day...
(Prior to reading this post I beg you to at least watch the link to the Spectrum and experience some Aggie Basketball Pride and if you go to BYU realize the mistake you made in doing so gurantee you are not this cool. Yes, please)
There are those times in life where your head feels like it just wants to EXPLODE!
So far this semester has proven to be one of them. Luckily I have these beautiful wonders in my life that make it all worth it.
The Spectrum
(I know I have posted this before but how amazing can we get!)
(I know I have posted this before but how amazing can we get!)
My favorite quote:"That's better choreography then the Mormon tabernacle choir"
I may Rep my UNLV sweater at times..its a must but I do have Aggie Pride! The Buried Life
I have a secret crush on all four of these men and would willingly hang out with them all day long! I am still working on my 100 list but it will get done soon. I think one of my goals on this list is to meet these guys in person.
Food Network
I watch this channel religiously It is on right before bed and usually as soon as I wake up and if I ever get a break. Its simply delectable.
My Heating Blanket
I crank this baby up to 10 every night about 10 minutes before I hop in bed and by the time I get in my bed is nice and toasty and stays that way all night long its pure Bliss!
My Friends
If I couldn't laugh at how crazy we all are I would never make it through the week. I would name them all but you know who you are.
Tumbling
I know crazy, right. I love being able to know how to do a front flip and just bust one out at gymnastics I have never been able to do this before. Trampoline does not count its just such a blast and learning to do back handsprings makes it even more exciting I wish I could tumble all day long!
What are your dirty little secrets that keep you going when your head is about to explode?

My Candy Heart
These sweet little treats.............
are my favorite Valentines Day candy...why?
well they are yumm yumm yumm and they say nice things to me as I eat them, how kind. Just like goldfish, smiling back at me until you bite there heads off. (also a favorite)
My favorite one of all these hearts is
FAX ME
I want some day to get a fax that says "Hey baybay date me" or "be my valentine"
A fax how cool would life get! I am going to fax some hot man one day and ask him out on a date by fax; not text, not call, not in person, and no way facebook, FAX!
Whats your favorite Valentine candy? Whats the funniest way you've been asked out/ asked someone out? If its fax we are now the best of buds!

10 minute prep time
Public Speaking.....
Walk into my TA practicum class. I am told to choose a piece of paper and read the quote. My thoughts....
easy peasy lemon squeezy I've been reading since Kindergarten, pshh walk in the park.
Part two of my story: read this quote then you have 10 minutes to prepare a 2 minute speech around this quote no help just your mind pen and paper, then present it to the rest of the TA's (this class consists of probably the top 10 best students in the major and the best teacher). This task has become not so easy peasy lemon squeezey. A walk in the park turned into a walk through the snow with no shoes on.
My quote: "They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself."
-Andy Warhol
So I took my ten minutes and compiled a lovely speech full of 2 whole example one from a seminar Patch Adams the real doctor gave and one from my real life.
and.... I did it and I felt great afterwards I would totally prepare speeches all day I realized this is why speech communications is my major I love it!
If public speaking scares you I can help its my job....how cool does that get!
