O my goodness!!

I cant believe it is almost over!! one more week and I am done with my first year of college.... I have made it and I'm going back next year! its sooo crazy to think about.
well this week has been crazy Tuesday was the awards banquet..here's how that went down:
I was forced to go by Josie... as I later found out there was a reason... I received a scholarship $600 per semester for leadership and won one of the Distinguished service awards it was AMAZING!

Thursday The Inaugural:

My very first event I planned with the help of my amazing advisor Tiffany! My two amazing designers Lori :) (her first ASUSU design) & Sarah! The food from what I was told rocked.. we served spinach & artichoke dip, tea cookies (ie: lemon bars chocolate bars etc..) & eclairs w/ a veggie tray and a yummy peach drink. We had the officers give out flowers of thanks and it was all in all really good but.. it could be better :)

Saturday &Friday Robins Awards!

This is a tradition at Utah State and is a very prestigious awards ceremony. Katie B. & Kayde (me) got the opportunity to plan the reception which was held outside and turned out being absolutely beautiful with amazing food and decor by Andy Saxton the school turned the waterfall on so it looked beautiful.

After the reception was the awards ceremony with awards and preformers Jon Schmidt being one of them he played waterfall and is such and amazing piano player and an awesome guy I got his autograph and was able to talk to him back stage for a few minutes he is a very nice extremly talented guy. The song I have posted is called waterfall (sorry for the sparkling cider view)

After the awards cerimony was the Blue Carpet ball. it was a blast JonSchmidt played again at 9:30 and his new arrangment is Love Story/ Viva La Vida.. go look it up on YouTube your socks will be rocked off its amazing! at about 9:30 we were all losing our minds( We had been working on this from Friday Morning all day and Saturday all day minus get ready for 2 hours and we cleaned up until 2:30 AM)favorite quote of the night....
I was taking tickets with my friend Chaise and he was talking to the people who just walked in "Hey how are you?" my reply " Good how are you?" Chaises reply: Kayde that wasnt meant for you... other people: wierd look and walk off laughing.. this lack of sleep experiences did not just happen to me luckily. It was amazing though the decor was beautiful everyone said they loved it and it was all of the committees doing and Crystal our amazing director! BRAVO for and amazing week of wrapping up!

Once upon a time in a far far away land known as Logan I decided id lose my mind and go running after not running for like years.. since I stopped playing soccer... & also after a nice long 10 hour day of work. well I should have known the blantantly obviouse.. Im a fish. Fish like water.. not land and running and my legs have deffinatly made that point more real than it has ever been im pretty sure I will have to drag myself to go to chruch tommorow. But I will go dragging or not because I got called as gospel doctrine teacher so now I am going to be there. No matter how much pain my body is in.

O side note: scrapbook convention thingys are crazy its a bunch of paper crazy people ( I may or may not be one of them) all huddled in a big room oohhing and ahhing about pages and pictures but it was oo cool!! I want to go to those all the time, anyways .....

I have taken a survey.. it consited of one person but i value my own opinon quit highly right now even if I cant spell half the words in this blog. anyways results: lifeguarding is ranked the NUMBER ONE BORINGEST JOB ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET!! this is why I coach I love the kids and they keep me busy lifeguarding just make my head come unglued with bordem.

Anyways that was my random blog of the day. GO AGGIES!! (best game I have ever seen)
