Salt Lake City

I have not posted in.. about 1,000 years. This weekend will be my weekend post.

SALT LAKE CITY!!

Yesterday I went to salt lake with Lori (a.k.a Frank since John couldn't remember her name & no one knew who she was at first), my best from Vegas basically. We drove up to see my best friend Lexy Loo's brother, TJ, who just got back from Iraq and is going back again in a week. As well as seeing a good Friend Jonnycoop (my gangsta 100). It was a big city and reminded me of good old Viva Las Vegas minus all the amazing people, my family, and well.. just not being as cool as Vegas.. but still it was close enough.

My top five memories from that night:

1. getting lost for about an hour and sitting in the target parking lot waiting to be found.
2. Using a bump-it and never wanting to use it again thank you Utah for such a lovely invention.. please take it out of stores. its hard to see in Church when there is such big hair! (real problem at my best friends farewell)

3. Eating at this place called Pie... I think or possibly pan.. but it sells some Delicious pizza to bad they don't sell slices until after 10 so you have to get a whole flipping pizza!! what will I do with a whole pizza?? but its ok it was a good once slice out of my whole pizza.

4. Being with my best friend, seeing TJ and Beth and baby Kemper and enjoying time with all my best of friends that I miss o so much!

5. and last but not least at all... hanging out with my gangsta' 100 who I haven't seen since before his mission plus about a year = 3 whole long years. I learned a cankle work out and laughed until it hurt!

It was a great day it had its hardships but being with friends and having Lori meet all my old friends made up for everything and I loved it!!! (not pictured would be Beth, Kemper, Lex friend, TJ, and Beths little sister)
Goal: I vow to post more blogs then one ever few months or so.

Summer is Flying!

I cant even explain how lucky I am to have the job I do some of the kids I would prefer didnt come everyday to learn to swim but some have taught me really great lessons.
Rohun this is a student I had the past three weeks and right before I got him I would hear all of these horror stories from all the other teachers and how his parents still dressed and fed him when he is 9!!! I would like to clarify that most of the kids that come to Bubbles are very wealthy and tend to be spoiled. anways back to the point that first week with him killed me but by the end of the session on Friday I completely loved working with him He liked me and so they kept him with me and I really grew from him I learned alot about patience and also children its so wierd what people can teach you who arent even trying.

Sonic! love this place(sorry sounds likeI have bloggerADD) anyways amazing place we go there after ultimate frizzbee so anyways we went on Thursday and there was a homeless guy there who asked us for a hamburger and well... we had one but homeless people can sometimes not be so homeless but I figured he had actually asked for food not money so I went and got my purse out of my car and Casey got some money out of his wallet and we gave him some. yep warm fuzzy feeling LOVE IT! it was just good to do that one deed for someone that hopefully helped him make it through another day.

Trey! yesTrey finally got baptized one of my good friends it was such a fun baptism and Scott gave an excellent talk and it was a really good reminder of the gospel and how important it is to me.

Well in two weeks im taking two weeks off and going to sea world and disney land for my FIRST! time crazy I know and making a road trip with all of my friends to Colorado. my first raod trip without family I am really excited for these trips and the break from work I cant wait!!
